This is a traditional tomato pasta sauce made according to the Italian tradition.
Excellent to season dry pasta such as spaghetti or other types, or egg pasta such as tagliatelle and pappardelle. It could be a good base for the preparation of a wide variety of sauces adding other ingredient at pleasure.
This traditional sauce could be used as “tomato base” for the typical Italian pizza, adding some “mozzarella” in pieces, basil leaves and slices of fresh tomatoes.
